Waterloo Corner structure fire - 28 February 2024
CFS crews were called to a structure fire in Waterloo Corner, approximately 22 km to the north of Adelaide just after 9 pm this evening.
Approximately twenty-five CFS firefighters on four trucks and one bulk water carrier were supported by resources from MFS to contain the fire. Crews were supported by SA Police and SA Ambulance. The property owners were not on site at the time of the incident.
Firefighters arrived on scene to find a farm shed, housing a tractor engulfed by fire. Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze and successfully contained the fire from further spread. CFS crews will remain on site for the next half hour to mop up the area and will hand the site over to SA Police.
Losses have been estimated at $150,000.
