Structure Fire in Maslin Beach Causes $300,000 Damage - 23 February 2022

 

Just after 10h15PM on Wednesday, 23 February 2022, CFS firefighters were alerted to a structure fire in Maslin Beach, near Aldinga Beach on the Fleurieu Peninsula, South Australia.

Upon arrival at the scene, CFS crews found a three-bedroom house and a 20x20 hay shed fully involved in a fire. 

Approximately 35 CFS firefighters in 8 fire trucks fought the fire which caused approximately $300,000 damage to the structures and their contents.

The house and shed were unoccupied at the time of the fire.

The CFS crews were supported by SAPOL at the incident and Fire Cause Investigators will be attending the scene in the morning to ascertain the cause of the fire.
