Structure Fire at Munno Para West - 27th December 2022

 

CFS were called to a residential structure fire in Munno Para West, north of Adelaide late in the evening of the 26^th of December with reports of an explosion.

Two CFS trucks supported by an additional two MFS trucks attended the incident to find a duplex well engulfed in fire which has since been controlled by attending firefighters.

SAPOL are also supporting with traffic control and it is understood that road closures are limited to Tatura Road currently.

The duplex is unfortunately a total loss with an estimated $200,000 of damage with a neighbouring property sustaining minor damage.

Residents who were home at the time were evacuated and treated for smoke inhalation while CFS crews rescued the family pet dog and returned it to the owners unharmed.

Fire cause investigators are attending shortly to determine a cause while CFS and MFS crew remain on scene mopping up and making the area safe.
