Structure fire at Munno Para - 6 August 2026
This afternoon at around 4.30pm, CFS and SA Metropolitan Fire Service firefighters responded to reports of a structure fire at a Munno Para veterinary clinic in the northern suburbs of Adelaide.
Thankfully, all occupants self evacuated before firefighters arrived. The only animals at the clinic at the time were 2 goldfish who were unharmed.
The fire started in the laundry of the clinic and spread into the roof space.
Thanks to their skilled response, 18 firefighters on 4 trucks were able to quickly extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading further into the building.
Due to smoke and heat damage to other rooms and equipment at the clinic, damages are estimated in excess of $40,000.
SA Ambulance and SA Police provided support on scene and Fire Investigators have been notified.
