Stockyard Plains Fire - Sturt Highway Reopened (15 October 2018)
SA Country Fire Service (CFS) and Department for Environment and Water (DEW) are currently attending a scrub fire at Stockyard Plains, 18 kilometres west of Waikerie in the Riverland.
Although this fire is causing smoke to be visible in the Stockyard Plans and Waikerie areas, the Sturt Highway has been reopened to traffic.
Motorists are advised to use headlights and drive to the conditions in the area.
