Stirling Structure Fire - December 12

At 5.51pm this evening, CFS crews were alerted to a structure fire in a two storey townhouse in Stirling.

4 appliances and 20 firefighters responded quickly to the fire, with firefighters successfully containing the fire to just two rooms in the house, minimising damage to the rest of the property. The fire was contained within 30 minutes of the initial call being received.

SAPOL and the Ambulance Service were also in attendance. There were no injuries but unfortunately a pet dog perished in the fire.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined and damage is estimated to be between $50,000 - $100,000.
