Shed fire at Tailem Bend - Friday 16 April
Shortly before 3pm this afternoon, CFS crews were called to a shed fire on Kulde Road, Tailem Bend.
Approximately 30 CFS firefighters accompanied by MFS firefighters responded to the call.
On arrival, they found a shed measuring approximately 20 metres by 30 metres in size fully engulfed in flames.
It is understood the shed contained electrical and mechanical equipment.
While it is expected the shed and its contents will be completely destroyed, crews successfully prevented the fire from spreading to nearby homes and properties.
The fire is now under control but crews will remain on scene well into the evening.
Estimated damages are approximately $80,000.
Fire cause investigators will attend the scene this evening to determine the cause.
