Shed fire at Maitland - 28 June 2026
At 10:15 am, CFS firefighters responded to a shed fire at Maitland on the Yorke Peninsula.
Approximately 30 CFS firefighters attended with 6 fire trucks, working alongside SA Police, SA Ambulance Service and SA Power Networks.
Crews arrived to find a 6 metre by 10 metre shed on fire and worked to extinguish the blaze, successfully preventing it from spreading to a neighbouring shed.
Damage is estimated at approximately $50,000.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined. Fire Investigators will attend.
