McLaren Vale house fire - 2 November

Friday, November 2 at 2:40am with information on a structure fire at McLaren Vale.

Just before 1am this morning, CFS crews were called to the home on Binney Road, at McLaren Vale.

The house and two cars in the driveway were on fire when firefighters arrived. It’s believed the fire may been started at one of the cars but Fire Cause Investigators have been called to the scene to confirm this.

The eight CFS crews worked to protect surrounding homes from the fire spreading but were unable to save the building. The estimated damage bill is between $200,000 and $300,000.
