House Fire in Karoonda - 4 October 2021

At approximately 11:30 this morning, the SACFS was alerted to a residential house fire on Coads Road, Karoonda.

 

Two CFS crews, supported by SA Ambulance Services arrived to find one room of the house on fire. Although there was smoke and heat damage to the property, this was quickly contained, preventing spread to other parts of the house.

 

The resident of the house was able to safely evacuate before crews arrived, however, approximately $50,000 worth of damage was done.

 

Fire cause investigators are attending to determine the cause.
