House fire at Williamstown - 20 October 2023
Smoke over Williamstown and surrounding areas is being caused by a fully involved house fire on Adams Road.
At approximately 7.15 pm, CFS crews supported by MFS were alerted to the structure fire at Williamstown. Firefighters are currently on scene working to extinguish the blaze. Current confirmed damage includes total loss to the rear of the house and significant smoke damage throughout the front of the house. The estimated damage amount is $300,000.
One occupant has been helicoptered to hospital due to burns and smoke inhalation. SA Ambulance and SA Police are also on scene and fire investigators have been called to the structure.
