House fire at Two Wells- 26 May, 2020

At 2:38 this morning, CFS crews were called to a house fire at Two Wells, north of Adelaide.

Around 20 CFS volunteers on 5 trucks attended, and arrived to find the house fully on fire.

The house was destroyed causing between $150,000-$200,000 damage.

Due to working smoke alarms alerting household members to the fire, all occupants were able to safely evacuate.

The CFS reminds everyone that smoke alarms saves lives and we encourage you to check yours, as we head into winter.

The fire is believed to have been caused by a clothes dryer that was running in the laundry. We want to remind the community to not run these sorts of appliances unattended.
