House fire at Riverglades - 3 May 2026

Shortly after 8:15 pm, CFS crews were called to a two-storey house fire at Riverglades, approximately 3 km east of Murray Bridge. The fire started in an attached shed and spread to the house.

Twenty CFS volunteer firefighters on 3 trucks and one command vehicle attended, supported by SA Police, SA Ambulance Service, SA Power Networks, and SA Metropolitan Fire Service.

Thanks to the swift response and efforts of crews, the fire was contained to the lower level of the house.

Damage is estimated at $400,000, and Fire Investigators will attend.
