House Fire at Bordertown- 15 May

At 6:45 this evening, CFS crews were called to a structure fire on Campbell Street, Bordertown.

Volunteers from Bordertown, Keith and Mundulla arrived to find the house engulfed in flames, causing around $300,000 in damage. Fortunately no one was injured.

The cause of the is suspected to be a combustion fire, with Fire Cause Investigators attending the scene tomorrow.

As we head into winter, the CFS wants to remind the public to make sure your fireplaces are appropriately cleaned out and the chimneys cleared of any soot build up.
