House fire at Barossa Goldfields - 11 August 2023

At approximately 8:30 on Friday evening, CFS crews from Concordia, Williamstown, Light Group, Barossa and Lyndoch stations and three fire trucks from the MFS were called to a house fire on Woodlands Road at Barossa Goldfields – situated between Williamstown and Cockatoo Valley.

When they arrived, the house was fully involved in fire and was subsequently destroyed.

Fire cause investigators are yet to determine how the fire started and early estimates have the damage bill at over $200,000.
