House and caravan fire at Pinks Beach - 6 May 2026

Just before 11:15 pm, CFS firefighters responded to a house and caravan fire at Pinks Beach, around 6 km from Kingston SE.

Around 15 firefighters on 3 trucks and one command car attended, working with SA Ambulance Service and SA Police.

All occupants evacuated safely before crews arrived.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus worked to control the fire and prevent it from spreading to a neighbouring house.

Both the house and caravan were destroyed, with losses estimated at $350,000.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined. Fire Investigators will attend.
