At 1.40 this afternoon, three CFS crews were called to a crop and stubble fire on Belalie East Road at Washpool, near Jamestown in the Mid North.

The cause is a suspected bearing failure on a header. The 14 hectare fire destroyed the header caused approximately $400,000 damage.
