Firefighters save Oakbank properties

Saturday, February 3 at 12:55pm:

Just after midday seven CFS trucks and three water bombers responded to a fire on Beasley Road, Oakbank.

The bombers did three drops and the volunteer crews worked fast to save all properties being threatened by the fire.

The fire was caused by a ride on lawn mower, which was destroyed in the blaze.

It serves as a reminder, that even on days with a low to moderate fire danger rating, it’s important to have precautions in place so if a fire does start, it can be extinguished quickly.
