Fire Destroys Netball Clubrooms at Aldinga

 

Just after 230am this morning the Country Fire Service responded to reports of a Structure Fire on Quinliven Road, Aldinga, south of Adelaide.

On arrival, firefighters found the Aldinga Netball Club fully alight with flames coming through the roof.

22 firefighters from four fire trucks and one bulk water carrier, worked quickly to contain the fire within 20 minutes.

Despite the efforts of fire crews the 6metre x 9metre shed which housed the clubs office, store room and canteen has been fully destroyed.

No other structures at the sporting complex where impacted by the fire.

Fire Cause Investigators will be attending the scene early this morning to determine the cause.

Total dollar damage estimates have been set at approximately $50 000

SA Ambulance and SA Police were also on scene.

No one was injured in the fire.
