Cudlee Creek caravan explosion - 8 May 2026

Two trucks carrying approximately 10 firefighters responded to Triple Zero to attend an incident at 4:50 pm at Cudlee Creek in South Australia’s Adelaide Hills.

Upon arrival, CFS volunteers found a person injured following an explosion in a caravan, with members of the public providing first aid.

Firefighters secured the scene and provided further first aid until SA Ambulance Service arrived.

The person has been transported to hospital for further treatment.

SA Police also provided support and Fire Cause have been contacted.
