Car and caravan fire at Streaky Bay - 9 March 2022

Three CFS crews responded to a car and caravan fire on the Flinders Highway at Streaky Bay at 12pm this afternoon.

On arrival, volunteers found the car and caravan alight on the highway. CFS crews’ safety extinguished the fire, which was believe to of started in the car and spread to the caravan.

Thankfully, no one was injured in the fire.

The damage bill of the car and caravan is estimated at $110,000, with an estimated $20,000 damage to the highway.
