$90,000 truck and grass fire at Crafers - 31 March 2023
Approximately 15 firefighters attended a truck fire that started a grass fire impacting approximately 30
meters squared on the South Eastern Freeway at Crafers. Both fires are now extinguished with SA Police and Department of Transport and Infrastructure still on scene to manage traffic.
No injuries have been recorded with the driver safely exiting the vehicle. The truck was not in the process of carrying goods making the estimated damage cost $90,000.
The fire cause is being investigated.
