$90,00 structure fire Wolseley

At 9:40pm last night CFS was alerted to a structure fire at a shed used for accommodation on East Terrace, Wolsley in the State’s south east by the owner of the premises.

Six CFS fire trucks and one Bulk Water Carrier responded and found the roof of the property had been breached with the property fully ablaze. SAPOL and SAAS were also in attendance.

Crews were able to protect the house next door and save around $100,000 of property and crops nearby.

The owner of the property was treated for burns on his arm by SA Ambulance Service and transported to hospital for further treatment.

Fire cause is unknown and Fire Cause Investigators will attend the scene to determine the cause of the fire this morning, with damages estimated to be approximately $90,000.
