$80,000 outside waste fire at Buckland Park - 4 February 2023
At approximately 3.30am CFS crews attended a fire at a food processing and packing facility off Port Wakefield Highway, Buckland Park.
On arrival, CFS crews found over 500 pallets and crates alight. Firefighters contained the fire, saving an estimated value of over $1,000,000 including 12 tractors stored within the nearby sheds.
Estimated damage is in excess of $80,000. SA Police have investigated and cause is yet to be determined.
