$650,000 structure fire at Indulkana - 14 July 2023
CFS crews have responded to a house fire at Spring Drive in Indulkana also known locally as Iwantja, in the APY Lands.
2 trucks attended the incident but unfortunately, the free standing house was already engulfed when firefighters arrived on the scene with losses estimated at $650,000.
Firefighters have contained the blaze and will remain on scene into this afternoon to finish mopping up and monitor for reignition.
Fire cause is unknown and SAPOL is currently at this scene.
