$60,000 caravan fire at Scott Creek - 20 October 2023
CFS crews have extinguished a caravan fire at Scott Creek Conservation Park in Bradbury, south east of Adelaide.
5 CFS crews along with 20 local Farm Fire Units worked to extinguish the blaze before it could spread to surrounding vegetation. Firefighters also mostly saved the awning over the caravan. The caravan was being used as a permanent residents and personal belongings stored inside were also lost. Damage is estimated at $60,000.
Thankfully no injuries have been recorded. SA Police have attended the scene and the cause is undetermined.
