$60,000 caravan fire at Scott Creek - 20 October 2023
CFS crews have extinguished a caravan fire at Scott Creek, south east of Adelaide.
5 CFS crews worked to extinguish the blaze before it could spread to surrounding vegetation. Firefighters also mostly saved the awning over the caravan. The caravan was being used as a permanent residents and personal belongings stored inside were also lost. Damage is estimated at $60,000.
Thankfully no injuries have been recorded. SA Police have attended the scene and the cause is undetermined.
