$50,000 structure fire at Waterfall Gully - 2 February 2023
Firefighters from CFS and MFS responded to a structure fire, which started in the bedroom of a two story home on Waterfall Gully Road, Waterfall Gully at approximately 6.30 pm.
After being alerted to the fire by a smoke alarm, quick thinking from residents closing the door was able to keep damage at a minimum, with firefighters containing the fire to only the bedroom.
The fire within the bedroom along with smoke travelling throughout the house leaves an estimated damage cost of $50,000.
This fire is now extinguished and thankfully, there are no injuries. Crews will be leaving the scene shortly.
SA Ambulance and SA Police were also in attendance.
