$40,000 structure fire at Hamley Bridge - 7 February 2023
CFS crews are currently on scene at a structure fire starting in a house on Florence Street, Hamley Bridge at approximately 8.00 am.
Residents were home when the fire started and alerted authorities. Quick work from crews saved most of the home by containing the blaze to the rear end of the house. Smoke damage has extended throughout property and estimated value is $40,000.
Firefighters remain on scene extinguishing hot spots in roof.
SA Police and fire cause investigators have been called to scene.
