$300,000 structure fire at Freeling - 8 February 2023
CFS crews arrived to significant smoke coming out of the pharmacy on Hanson Street, in Freeling at approximately 8.00 am this morning.
A fire was found near the store counter and 30 firefighters contained the blaze, saving the community op shop and pizza store next door. Now extinguished, the fire has caused approximately $300,000 worth of damage.
Thankfully no customers or staff were in the pharmacy when the fire started.
Firefighters remain on scene putting out hot spots. SA Police and SA Ambulance both attended the scene.
