$200,000 shed fire at Glenroy - 22 August 2021

At 3:11 this afternoon CFS crews were alerted to a shed fire on Flint Road, Glenroy, in the state’s Lower South East by a 000 caller reporting hearing sounds of an explosion in the shed.

Four CFS fire trucks and two CFS bulkwater carriers arrived to find the contents of a shed ablaze.

SA Ambulance Services treated the owner of the property for smoke inhalation while firefighters worked to extinguish the fire.

Several tractors and farm machinery were inside the shed, with a tractor and sprayer destroyed.

Damages have been estimated at $200,000 and the cause of the fire has not been identified, but the fire is not deemed to be suspicious.
