$200,000 - $300,000 structure fire in Clarendon - 30 May 2023

CFS crews are currently attending a second alarm structure fire at a residential property on Bakers Gully Road in Clarendon.

The single story house was fully involved when firefighters arrived causing an estimated $200,000 - $300,000 worth of damage. Approximately 30 firefighters in 7 trucks are using an external attack to bring the fire under control.

The single occupant was home when the fire broke out however, they were able to leave the property safely with no injuries recorded at this time.

SA Power Network, SA Ambulance Service and SA Police have all been on scene to support. The cause of the fire is unknown and fire cause investigators have been called to the scene.

Smoke can be seen around the area and road closures are in place. CFS advises all motorists to drive to conditions.
