$150,000 structure fire at Coonalpyn - 30 October 2023
CFS Crews were called to a structure fire on Poyntz terrace at Coonalpyn, in the state's upper southeast shortly after 2:30am.
Four CFS trucks from Coonalpyn, Meningie and Coomandook, responded to the scene, where they found the Silo Café alight. With the quick efforts from firefighters, they contained the fire to a small storeroom in the middle of the building before it could spread.
Firefighters were supported by SA Police, SA Power Networks and SA Ambulance Service
Damage is estimated at approximately $150,000.
Fire Cause Investigators will be attending the scene later this morning.
