$1,000,000 Structure Fire at Waterloo Corner - 27th December 2022
CFS have been called to a structure fire at Waterloo Corner, north of Adelaide.
Seven CFS trucks along with three MFS supporting trucks attended the local business – with additional attendance by SAPOL and SAAS on scene.
The fire is currently not controlled and there is a large amount of smoke traveling in a south-easterly direction. Due to the potentially harmful nature of the burning materials inside the business, CFS is advising nearby residents to remain indoors with windows closed.
CFS Hazmat crews have been dispatched to attend along with a Breathing Apparatus support truck.
The estimated damage of the business is $1,000,000 as there were a collection of motorcycles and vehicles on the property.
Fortunately, the premises were unoccupied and fire cause investigators have been activated to attend with CFS crews expected to be fighting the fire for some hours.
