$100,000 Structure Fire - Waterloo Corner - 28 September 2023
At approximately 9.45am this morning CFS were alerted to a structure fire at a private property in Waterloo Corner, in the Northern outer suburbs of Adelaide.
CFS attended with the support of MFS, responding with a total of 5 trucks and 22 crew who arrived to find the single-storey dwelling alight, with the fire believed to have ignited at the rear veranda.
The fire had spread to the rear of the property with the majority of damage to the rear of the main house and outbuilding, where thankfully nobody was home at the time.
SA Ambulance Service has attended to support crew and SA Police are assisting with roadblocks.
Crews are working on extinguishing the last of the hot spots and are expected to remain on the scene to ensure the area is made safe.
The damage is estimated at $100,000 and Fire Cause Investigators have been called to attend.
