$100,000 Structure Fire at Nuriootpa 25 May 2022

At approximately 5:26pm this evening, CFS crews were alerted to a structure fire in Scholz Avenue, Nuriootpa.

Four CFS trucks, supported by SAPOL arrived to find Eleni Barossa Bakery alight. The fire was quickly contained, preventing any spread to neighbouring businesses. Fortunately, no one was inside at the time.

The total damage is valued at $100,000, with the cause yet to be determined.

Fire cause investigations will attend the scene early tomorrow morning.
