Structure Fire in Mount Mary - 19 March 2026

The CFS were called to a structure fire at a rural residential property in Mount Mary, approximately 10 km south-west of Morgan just after 8pm.

6 trucks carrying approximately 25 CFS firefighters responded to a structure fully involved in fire upon arrival. Crews worked to extinguish the fire and limit the spread to surrounding areas of the property. The structure, including the surrounding buildings that housed multiple vehicles, are a total loss, with damages estimated at $350,000.

Crews will remain on site for some time to ensure total extinguishment and make the area safe. SA Police and SA ambulance have supported crews on site.

Thankfully, no occupants were present at the time.

The cause is currently undetermined, and Fire Investigators have been notified.
