Tractor fire at Yorketown - 17 May 2025

6 CFS volunteer firefighters on 2 trucks responded to a tractor fire on the St Vincent Highway at Yorketown on the southern Yorke Peninsula, just before 3pm this afternoon.

Firefighters arrived at the property to find a tractor on fire in the driveway but were able to quickly extinguish the fire and isolate it to the tractor.

Total losses are $65,000 and the cause of the fire was an electrical fault.

SA Police were on scene providing support to crews.
