Structure Fire at Yorketown- 24 Feb, 2020
At just after 6:30pm this evening, the CFS were alerted to a fire at a butcher shop on Warooka Road, Yorketown, on the state’s Yorke Peninsula.
CFS crews arrived to find the shop fully alight, successfully undertaking asset protection to prevent the fire from spreading to the adjacent shops.
Around 25 CFS volunteers on 6 CFS trucks attended the fire, which has caused between $200,000 and $300,000 in damage.
Fire cause investigators will attend the scene tomorrow to attempt to determine the cause.
