Structure fire at Taylorville - December 18 2025
Structure fire at Taylorville
Six CFS trucks carrying approximately 24 volunteer firefighters responded to Triple Zero to attend a structure fire at 8:52am at Taylorville in South Australia’s Riverland.
Multiple reports were made of smoke being seen from the nearby Sturt Highway.
Upon arrival, volunteer firefighters found a fully involved fire in a shed. The shed had been converted into a home and workshop.
On a day of heightened fire risk, the good work of CFS volunteers prevented the fire from spreading to nearby cropping land as well as a home and two sheds located within metres of the fire.
Support was provided by SA Police, while SA Power Networks also attended.
Damage to the property is estimated at $250,000 and fire investigators have been notified.
