Structure fire at Dublin - 15 September 2025
Seven trucks and five support vehicles carrying approximately 40 firefighters responded to a Triple Zero call at 11:30 am to attend a structure fire at a piggery at Dublin on the Adelaide Plains.
This fire is ongoing and CFS volunteers will remain on site well into the night to ensure the property is safe.
Upon arrival at the scene, firefighters found hay bales and two plastic shelters ablaze. CFS volunteers utilising breathing apparatus have been fighting the fire, whilst machinery is also being used to prevent further spread. RSPCA and PIRSA are on site to assist landowners with stock loss.
It is believed the fire started via spontaneous combustion of hay bales in today’s dry and warm winds. There is currently no dollar value on the damage caused to the property.
SA Police and SA Ambulance Service have been supporting CFS volunteers.
