Structure fire at Clinton - 10 November 2025
Around 3.15pm, approximately 50 firefighters on 10 CFS trucks attended a house fire at Clinton on the Yorke Peninsula.
On arrival, crews discovered a large house and shed fully engulfed in fire.
Thanks to their quick response, firefighters - including a specialist hazardous materials crew - were able to prevent the fire from spreading to nearby structures, crops, and native scrub.
Unfortunately, the home, shed, and two cars were completely destroyed with damages estimated in excess of $1million.
Firefighters will remain on scene to monitor for smouldering areas with thermal imaging cameras.
Crews were supported by MFS, SA Police, SA Ambulance, and SA Power Networks and Fire Investigators will attend tomorrow.
