Structure fire at Aldinga Beach - 21 July 2025

CFS firefighters on approximately 6 trucks have contained a structure fire in Aldinga Beach, south of Adelaide, after the property’s carport caught alight and extended into the attached house.

The approximately 30 firefighters arrived contain the fire, in the early hours of the morning, to the single property before it could extend to the neighbours roof. The carport where the fire started is a total loss and the roof of the attached home has collapsed due to fire damage in sections. The estimated damage amount is $200,000.

Residents weren’t home when the fire started. No injuries have been recorded at this time.

SA Police and SA Ambulance were on scene supporting firefighters. The cause of the fire is currently being investigated.
