House fire at Woodcroft - 22 September 2025

CFS crews were called to a house fire at Woodcroft in the southern suburbs at approximately 1:00 pm.

12 firefighters in 2 trucks and one command vehicle attended the fire with support from SA Police, MFS, and SA Ambulance.

Thanks to their quick response, crews were able to contain the fire to one room and limit further damage to the house.

Two occupants and a dog were successfully evacuated from the house. Both occupants are being treated by SA Ambulance Paramedics for smoke inhalation.
 
CFS crews will remain on scene to check for any hotspots in the house using thermal imaging cameras and extinguish any smouldering areas.

The room was destroyed and the damage is estimated at $50,000. Fire Investigators will attend later today.
