House fire at Light Pass - 21 May 2020

Update on Thursday, May 21 at 1:10pm:

At about 11:30 this morning CFS and MFS crews were called to a house fire on Stockwell Road at Light Pass near Nuriootpa.

The occupant of the house was able to exit the property with their pets.

The fire is believed to have started in a slow combustion heater and got into the ceiling.

Crews are working to extinguish the fire by taking iron off of the roof to ensure the fire is completely out.
