House fire at Clarendon - 25 October 2025
Eleven CFS trucks and three support vehicles carrying approximately 64 firefighters responded to a Triple Zero call to attend a fire at a large single-storey home at 3:30 pm at Lovick Road, Clarendon, a town south of Adelaide.
Upon arrival at the scene, firefighters found a home fully involved.
Working in stormy conditions, firefighters fought the fire externally and then internally but were unable to prevent the house from being destroyed.
SA Metropolitan Fire Service also attended, with 16 firefighters on four trucks on site.
The occupants were not home at the time of the fire and damage to the property is estimated at $1 million.
SA Ambulance Service and SA Police provided support on scene.
The property will continue burning for some time and CFS will remain on site.
There is no threat to other properties.
Fire Investigators have been contacted.
