House fire at Bowmans 30 May 2018
At 1:30pm this afternoon CFS crews were called to a house fire on Bowmans Road at Bowmans near Port Wakefield. The caller reported smoke coming from the eaves of the property.
Five CFS crews attended and managed to keep the damage to the front of the house. The expected damage bill is estimated at $150,000.
No one was home at the time of the fire and there are no reported injuries.
The cause is currently unknown but Fire Cause Investigators have been notified.
