Farm Machinery Fire in Fox - 9 March 2026

Shortly before 5:45 pm, approximately 8 CFS firefighters responded with 3 trucks to a farm machinery fire in Fox, located 66 km south-west of Naracoorte in the state’s Limestone Coast.

A Farm Fire Unit from the property owner attempted to extinguish the fire before crews arrived.

The fire is believed to have started due to a mechanical fault. The farm machinery was destroyed, causing an estimated $150,000 in damage.
