$500,000 structure fire at Karte - 14 April 2022
CFS crews were called to a structure fire on a property at Settlers Road, Karte in the Murraylands at 13:10 this afternoon.
Three CFS trucks and a bulk water carrier responded with crews arriving to find the fire had spread through the roof and the house was completely alight.
Despite the hard work of crews, the home could not be saved, with total losses estimated to be $500,000.
Fire Cause Investigators will be on scene tomorrow.
