$40,000 damage in house fire at Aberfoyle Park - 24 August 2021

At 7:46 this evening CFS crews were alerted to a house fire in Southbound Avenue, Aberfoyle Park in Adelaide’s southern suburbs.

Six and a half minutes later two CFS crews, supported by two MFS crews, arrived to find the loungeroom of the house on fire.

Crews were able to quickly enter the home and extinguish the fire, which is believe to have started by an air conditioner.

 The resident of the home was able to safely evacuate before crews arrived.

Damage to the home has been estimated at $40,000.
