$360,000 hay and equipment shed fire at Lock - 16 March 2020

At 20 to 9 this morning the CFS were alerted to a fire in a hay and equipment shed at Palkagee Road at Lock.

Lock CFS responded and found the shed and machinery on fire.

Approximately $10,000 in hay and $350,000 in harvesting equipment was destroyed by the fire.

The fire cause has been deemed not suspicious, with an electrical fault on a battery charger believed to have been the cause.
